Strategic Plan CISV’s Strategic Plan has been rolled out on multiple levels from International to National, through the Committees and down to the Chapters.
CISV USA’s Executive Committee and Expanded Executive Committee are using the Strategic Plan goals at the forefront of their decision-making. The Committee Reports, Chapter Reports and their actions as a National Association will be focused on leadership, strengthening chapters and work to continue their outreach. We also need to remember that we as a Chapter are CISV USA as are all the other chapters in the United States.
We need to remember that this is a process that will continue to evolve as we work to understand how these goals will help us to improve our organization.
· Leadership is the key to success Improve training of leadership skills.
· Increasing quality through cooperation with other organizations. Create / strengthen local alliances by becoming involved with at least one other LMO/NGO (Like-Minded Organization/Non-Governmental Organization).
· How to find a fair way to financially support the organization in every continent. Diversify the membership of the Chapter and the make-up of the board to reflect the composition of the community.
· How to strengthen existing chapters. Increase communication within the Chapter as well as between the Chapter and National.
· How to avoid excluding - people, groups, NAs (National Associations) from CISV Help finance camps in other Chapters where costs are less. |
