Gulf Coast Relief Weekend III

 

We had a great time on our CISV Gulf Coast Relief Weekend III this weekend (11/17-11/19/06).  CISV Atlanta brought 5 workers (Tait Anberg, Alan Dos Santos, Marina Dos Santos, Daniel Hollingsworth, and Bill Howe) and CISV Gulf Coast supplied 8 workers lead my Will Lammons.  We had a total of 12 workers in the Gulf to help citizens in the CISV Gulf Coast Chapter area.  We spent all day Saturday gutting a house with our team.

  

Please consider joining us on Gulf Coast Relief Weekend III from Friday, April 21 to Sunday, April 23, 2006.  As always, we will head down on Friday, usually arriving around 10:00 p.m. and then depart around noon on Sunday (getting back home around 7:00 or 8:00 p.m.  Youth are more than welcome to come as long as they have adult supervision and are willing to work :)

Gulf Coast Relief Weekend IV

 

Nothing like working hard and having fun!  That’s just what we did for CISV Gulf Coast Relief Weekend IV the weekend of February 24-26, 2007.  CISV Atlanta brought 5 workers (Tait Anberg, Garry Banning, Tim Banning, Daniel Hollingsworth, and Thomas Wardlow), CISV Chattanooga brought 5 workers (Melinda, Dan, Skye, Brandon, and Cody Challener), CISV New York brought 1 worker (Ben Cooper), and CISV Gulf Coast supplied 14 workers lead by Will Lammons.  We had a total of 25 workers in the Gulf to help citizens in the CISV Gulf Coast Chapter area.  We spent all day Saturday clearing debris from Ms. Lavita’s back porch, hauling lumber and supplies for the rebuilding of a local church, and painting 4 rooms of the inside of a house.  And then Saturday evening we were fed like royalty by Paige Wall, Gulf Coast chapter president.  Thank you, thank you, thank you :)

Gulf Coast Relief Weekend V

 

Driving through several thunderstorms and betting against bad weather, our CISV Gulf Coast Relief Weekend V the weekend of May 11-13, 2007, was our biggest yet!  CISV Atlanta brought 8 workers (Laura Aday, Tait Anberg, Renee Dos Santos, Alan Dos Santos, Daniel Hollingsworth, Lisa Howe, Mackenzie McRae, and Thomas Wardlow), CISV Chattanooga brought 4 workers (Melinda, Dan, Skye, and Cody Challener), CISV New York brought 5 worker (Sam Katz, Rosanna Lopez, Callie Orsini, Adam Saul, and Rilka Spieler), and CISV Gulf Coast supplied several workers lead by Will Lammons.  We began Saturday clearing a little debris and ended the day painting the inside of a house.  Saturday evening we were fed by Paige Wall, Gulf Coast chapter president.  Thank you, thank you, thank you :)
