2006 Regional Mini Camp: Atlanta, GA Jun 9-11, 2006

Delegations of 9-14 year olds from Atlanta, Chattanooga, Cincinnati, and Denver spent the weekend of June 9-11, 2006, engaged in activities focused on the theme “The Power of One.”

Tait Anberg and Joni Tyson of the Atlanta Area were the Mini Camp planners. Lindy Day, assisted by Patrick Day, Denise Reidy-Puckett and Jenny DeWeese, coordinated our wonderfully delicious, healthy meals.  Chris Jasien, Jenny DeWeese, Denise Reidy-Puckett, Jay Stallworth, Lakwanza Williams, and Shannon Stafford transported our Denver delegation to and from MARTA.  Weaver Silvertooth and Carl Fite assisted in transporting tables and chairs for mealtimes and activities.

Melissa Ribeiro of the Atlanta Area was director. Mae Cooper of the Chattanooga Chapter, Pam Ford of the Cincinnati Chapter, Jay Stallworth and Lakwanza Williams of the Atlanta Area were staff.  Our wonderful leaders were Shannon Stafford (Atlanta), Pam Fortney (Atlanta), Elijah Duncan (Chattanooga), Marci Arnold (Cincinnati), Theresa Popelar (Cincinnati), Greg Ciluzzi (Denver), Brittany Sanderson (Denver),

We had 32 participants, 7 leaders, and 5 staff.  What a fantastic turnout for our very first Atlanta Area Mini Camp!
